What an incredible milestone! On 29th October 2025, the Coalition for Women’s Health in Africa (COWHA) hosted its Second Annual General Meeting (AGM) — bringing together members, strategic partners, private sector leaders, and civil society organizations from across the continent.

The AGM served as a dynamic platform to reflect on the journey, share key learnings, and reaffirm a shared commitment to advancing women’s health and wellbeing across Africa. Together, participants explored innovative pathways to strengthen health systems, champion local ownership, and accelerate African-led solutions that drive lasting impact.

From policy advocacy to private sector engagement, the discussions underscored the transformative power of collaboration — proving once again that when we unite behind a common purpose, change is not only possible, it is unstoppable.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all COWHA members, partners, and the dedicated Secretariat for their unwavering commitment and support. Their collective leadership continues to move us closer to an Africa where every woman can access the care, dignity, and opportunities she deserves.
