Focus more on camera related automation, scripting and prototype bringup
Responsibilities :
-Design and develop tools to facilitate IQ tuning and general camera development process
- Assist tasks in camera components bring up, calibration and validation
- Write scripts/codes to implement image analysis/processing algorithms to quickly prototype image quality testing
- Modify/cherry-pick codes in AOSP to debug camera issues and quickly validate fixes on a device.
- Modify image processing parameters with given directions for quick image quality evaluation.
- Assemble components, such as sensor, tester, light source, etc. to build a testing system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- Experience in camera development process
- Experience in building an imaging test automation system and operating imaging lab equipment
- Proficient in Python or/and Matlab
- Knowledge of basic camera KPIs and image quality metrics
- Knowledge in Android Debug Bridge and its shell
- Experience in using source control and project tracking software
- Team player and detail oriented, good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in designing and building imaging test automation systems.
- Experience working with Linux based systems and android development
- Deep understanding of camera related KPIs and image quality metrics
- Knowledge of image processing techniques, ISP blocks and mainstream camera pipeline algorithms for mobile camera product
