SUMMARY:COWHA Addis Ababa Launch
DESCRIPTION:Women in Africa bear a huge proportion of disease and mortality rates compared to other parts of the world. To initiate and accelerate action towards the advancement of women’s health in Africa\, the Coalition for Women’s Health in Africa (COWHA)\, a membership-based private health sector action platform was formed. The Coalition was officially launched by H.E Dr. Ergogie Tesfaye (PhD)\, Minister of Women and Social Affairs\, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on 9th November 2022 in Addis Ababa\, Ethiopia. In attendance were healthcare stakeholders from public\, private\, and development sectors.
