Women Deliver is a leading global advocate for the health, rights and wellbeing of girls and women. The Women Deliver conference catalyzes action by bringing together diverse voices and interests to drive progress for gender equality, with a particular focus on maternal, sexual, and reproductive health and rights. The 2023 Women Deliver conference that saw over 6,000 delegates provided COWHA a platform listen to the voices for Women and allowed COWHA to speak up on its mission on African girls and women’s health.  COWHA successfully hosted an official side session focused on the theme “The role of the private sector in advancing women’s health in Africa.” This session brought forth an opinion piece publication and a report that further highlighted the coalition’s purpose.
